Ingredients list for Healthy Chiwda

  • 1 cup Corn flakes lightly roasted
  • 1/2 cup Oats roasted
  • 1/2 cup Brown puffed rice
  • 2 tablespoons Flax seeds roasted
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds roasted
  • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin seeds roasted
  • 10-12 Almonds chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Green chillies slit
  • 4-6 Curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  2. Crush garlic and add to the pan alongwith green chillies, curry leaves and sauté till crisp.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, mix well and sauté for fifteen seconds.
  4. Add the cornflakes, oats, puffed rice, flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and almonds and mix well. Remove from heat and cool.
  5. Serve or store in an airtight container.
