Ingredients 

  • 16-20 baby potatoes, boiled
  • 2 teaspoons molagapodi (gun powder)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 5-7 curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried mango powder
  •  Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Flatten the baby potatoes between your palms and put into a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and sauté for 10 seconds. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add curry leaves and let it crackle.
  3. Add flattened baby potatoes, mix and cook till golden.
  4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, dried mango powder and gun powder and mix. Add salt, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add coriander leaves and toss well. Add lemon juice, switch off heat and mix.
  6. Serve hot.
