Ingredients for Oatmeal Jaggery Cookies Recipe

  • Oatmeal 1 cup

  • Jaggery ¾ cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1 cup

  • Olive oil ¼ cup + fo

  • Black pepper powder ¼ teaspoon

  • Cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon

  • Dried ginger powder (soonth) 1 teaspoon

  • Soda bicarbonate a pinch

  • Milk ½ cup

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with oil.

Step 2

Put oatmeal, wheat flour, olive oil, powdered jaggery, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder andginger powder in a bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Add soda and mix well. Add milk and mix well. Set aside.

Step 4

Drop dollops of oatmeal mixture on the greased traykeeping some distance between each. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Remove tray from oven and cool down to room temperature.

Step 6

Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
