Ingredients for Pasta moong Bolognese Recipe

  • Penne Pasta boiled 2 cups

  • Whole Green Grams boiled 1/2 cup

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Celery chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Tomato chopped 1 medium

  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Basil leaves 6-8

  • Parmesan cheese grated 4 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat oil and butter in a non stick wok. Add celery and garlic and saute.

Step 2

Chop onion in a chopper and add to the wok and saute, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add tomato and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and continue to saute.

Step 3

Add moong, ½ cup water, salt and pepper powder and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add penne and mix well.

Step 4

Tear fresh basil and add. Add 3 tbsps parmesan cheese and mix.

Step 5

Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot sprinkled with remaining parmesan cheese.
