Ingredients
- 2 cups penne pasta,boiled
- 1/2 cup whole green grams, soaked, drained and boiled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium tomato,chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 6-8 basil leaves
- 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Method
- Heat oil and butter in a non stick wok.
 Add celery and garlic and saute.
- Chop onion in a chopper and add to the wok and saute, stirring, for 2 minutes.
 Add tomato and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and continue to saute.
- Add moong, ½ cup water, salt and pepper powder and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes.
 Add penne and mix well.
- Tear fresh basil and add.
 Add 3 tbsps parmesan cheese and mix.
- Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot sprinkled with remaining parmesan cheese.
