By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Onions, Thick poha Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Poha 3 medium Onions finely chopped 2 cups Thick poha 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds a pinch Asafoetida 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder ¼ cup Roasted peanuts crushed 8-10 Curry leaves 3-4 Green chillies seeded and slit to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Freshly chopped coriander leaves chopped Method Wash poha thoroughly. Drain and set aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida, turmeric powder and peanuts. Mix well. Add curry leaves, green chillies and onion. Mix and sauté till onion is translucent. Add salt to poha and add to the pan. Mix well, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
