By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sev, Tomatoes Cuisine Gujarati Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Sev Tameta nu Shaak - SK Khazana 1/2 cup + to sprinkle Sev 1 cup Tomatoes finely chopped 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 Green chilli finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 1 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped for garnish Fresh coriander sprig Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and sauté till the seeds splutter. Add green chillies, ginger and garlic, mix and sauté well. Add salt and tomatoes and mix well. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and coriander powder, mix well and cook till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy. Add sugar and mix well. Add some water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add coriander leaves and sev and mix well.
