Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Sticky Chicken Wings-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken wings tips removed and halved 8

  • Oil for greasing

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Sesame oil 2 teaspoons

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Paprika 1/2 to cook

  • Honey 1 tablespoon

  • Cornflour slurry 2 tablespoons

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens chopped for garnish


Step 1

Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 2

Put chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well. Transfer the chicken wings on the greased tray and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 180˚C.

Step 4

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes.

Step 5

Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till fragrant.

Step 6

Add soy sauce, paprika and ¼ cup water and mix well. Add honey and mix well.

Step 7

Add cornflour slurry, mix well and cook till the sauce thickens.

Step 8

Add chicken wings and mix till all the wings are well coated with the sauce.

Step 9

Add vinegar and mix. Adjust salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 10

Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
