Aamras Ka Gosht Mutton pieces cooked in mango pulp and yogurt gravy This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ripe mango Pulp, Mutoon Cuisine Rajasthani Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Aamras Ka Gosht 1 cup Ripe mango Pulp 750 grams Mutoon 1 1/2 inch pieces on the bone 4 tablespoons Oil 4 medium Onions 15 Almonds blanched and peeled 2 tablespoons Melon seeds (magaz) to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger paste 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 5 Green chillies 1 cup Water 1/2 cup Yogurt 15 Raisins 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder a few strands Saffron (kesar) Method Heat 4 tbsps oil in a deep non stick pan. Roughly chop onions and put in a chopper and chop finely. Add to the pan and sauté till lightly browned. Grind together almonds and melon seeds with a little water, to a smooth paste. Set aside. Add mutton to the onions along with salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 1 minute. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Break green chillies and add. Mix everything well. Add 1 cup water and mix. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes. Add almond-melon seed paste and mix. Add mango pulp and mix. Add yogurt and raisins and mix well. Add garam masala powder and saffron and mix. Cook till mutton is completely done. Serve hot.
