This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless Chicken, Dried Apricots Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken with Apricot 600 grams Boneless Chicken curry cut pieces 15-16 Dried Apricots 2 tablespoons Oil 3 Bay leaves 2 inch sticks Cinnamon 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns 4 Black cardamoms 4-5 Green cardamoms 3-4 Cloves 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder a pinch Turmeric powder to taste Salt 130 grams Bhuna masala 1 tablespoon Vinegar for garnish Potato salli For garnis a few sprigs Fresh mint (pudina) Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add bay leaves, cinnamon, black peppercorns, black cardamoms, green cardamoms, cloves and cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add chicken pieces, mix well and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add dried apricots, bhuna masala, vinegar and mix well. Add 3 cups water and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or till the chicken and apricots are cooked. Transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with potato salli and a mint sprig and serve hot.
