Chilli Chicken- SK Khazana As the name suggests this dish is supposed to be spicy but you can adjust the green chillies as per your taste This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana. By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Apr 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Salt Cuisine Indo-Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chilli Chicken- SK Khazana 500 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 1 Egg to deep fry Oil 1 1/2 tablespoons Sesame oil (til oil) 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped 3-4 Green chillies slit 1 large Onion cut into 1 inch pieces and layers separated 1 medium Green capsicum cut into 1 inch pieces 2 tablespoons Red chilli sauce 1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch slurry 1 tablespoon Spring onion greens cut into thin strips 1 teaspoon Vinegar to serve Fried rice Method Take chicken cubes in a large bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns, cornflour, refined flour and egg and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop the chicken cubes into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and green chillies and sauté till golden brown. Add onion and capsicum, mix and sauté 1-2 minutes. Add red chilli sauce and soy sauce and mix well. Add 1 cup water, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the fried chicken, salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Add cornflour slurry and mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix and cook till the mixture thickens. Add spring onion greens and toss well. Switch the heat off and add vinegar and mix well.
