Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian Make these Chinese delicacies at home and enjoy with your entire family. By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Oil Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian 250 grams Boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch pieces + to deep fry Oil 1 tablespoon 4 teaspoons Dark soy sauce 3 teaspoons Green chilli sauce to taste White pepper powder to taste Salt 1 Egg 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1½ tablespoons Garlic chopped 1 inch Ginger finely copped 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 inch Celery finely chopped 2 cups Chicken stock 1 teaspoon Vinegar 2 stalks Spring onion greens finely chopped Egg fried rice 3 Eggs 3 cups Cooked rice 2 tablespoons Oil 1 small Carrot finely chopped 6-8 French beans finely chopped 1 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 teaspoon Green chilli sauce to taste Salt for garnishing Spring onion greens finely chopped, 2 tablespoons + Method To prepare chicken manchurian, heat sufficient oil in a pan. Take chicken in a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon green chilli sauce, white pepper powder, salt, egg and 1 tablespoon cornflour and mix well. Deep-fry marinated chicken pieces in hot oil till half fried. Drain on absorbent paper. To prepare gravy, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger, green chillies and celery and sauté for 1 minute. Reduce heat, add chicken stock, remaining soy sauce, remaining green chilli sauce and salt and mix. Take remaining cornflour in another bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons water and mix well to make a thick slurry. Add the slurry to gravy and mix. Add half fried chicken pieces, mix and cook for 4-5 minutes. Switch off heat, add vinegar and spring onion greens and mix well. To prepare egg fried rice, heat 1 tablespoon oil in another non-stick pan. Break in eggs, add salt, mix and cook till it gathers. Transfer in another bowl. Heat remaining oil in the same non-stick pan. Add carrot and French beans and sauté for 1 minute. Reduce heat, add soy sauce, green chilli sauce and salt and mix. Add cooked rice, toss well and cook for 1 minute. Add cooked eggs and spring onion greens and mix well. Put chicken manchurian in a serving bowl.
