This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dried Apricots, Chicken Cuisine Parsi Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Jardaloo Marghi 15-20 Dried Apricots soaked 800 grams Chicken cut into 1/2 cm wide long stripes cut into 8 piece 3 tablespoons Oil 5 Green cardamoms 1 inch stick Cinnamon 3 medium Onions sliced 2 tablespoons Ginger paste 2 teaspoons Garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 2 medium Tomatoes chopped 1 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Vinegar for garnish Potato salli Method Heat oil in a deep non stick pan. Add green cardamoms, cinnamon and onions and saute till fragrant and light golden. Remove seeds from the apricots. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and chicken to the pan and mix well and continue to saute.Add turmeric powder and mix. Add salt and tomatoes and mix well. Add red chilli powder and 1 cup water and mix well. Cover and cook till chicken is almost done. Add apricots and mix. Add vinegar and mix. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot garnished with potato salli.
