Pan Seared Fish with Chilli, Garlic, Soy Fish fillets shallow-fried on a pan and served topped with vegetables cooked with red chillies, garlic and soy sauce. By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless fish, Red chillies Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Pan Seared Fish with Chilli, Garlic, Soy 2 Boneless fish cut into 2 inch pieces 3-4 Red chillies 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped 1 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped ¼ cup Red capsicum diamond-shaped pieces ¼ cup Yellow capsicum diamond-shaped pieces ¼ Green capsicum diamond-shaped pieces 1 teaspoon Fish sauce to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 tablespoon Spring onion greens finely chopped Method Roughly chop red chillies. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and ginger and sauté till all the raw flavours are gone. Add red, yellow, green capsicums, red chillies, fish sauce, soy sauce, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Cook for a minute. Remove from heat. Place fish pieces on an absorbent paper to soak moisture from the fish. Sprinkle salt and crushed peppercorns. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan, place fish pieces and cook till both the sides are golden. Transfer the fried fish pieces onto a serving plate. Put the wok back on heat, add spring onion and mix well.
