This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken, Onions Cuisine Punjabi Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Puransingh Chicken Curry 800 grams Chicken cut into small pieces on the bone 3 Onions finely chopped 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2-3 Green chillies slit 1 inch sti Cinnamon 2-3 tablespoons Oil 2-3 Tomatoes pureed 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder to taste Salt 4-5 Black cardamoms 3 Bay leaves 2-3 Cloves 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon Coriander powder a few for garnish Fresh coriander leaves Method Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, black cardamom cloves, cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add onions and sauté lightly. Switch off the heat. Transfer this mixture into a mixer jar and grind into a fine paste with a little water. Transfer this paste in the pan and sauté on a low heat. Add green chillies and tomato puree and sauté. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté, stirring continuously. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and sauté. Add chicken and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Add one litre water, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
