This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 May 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken, Green Chillies Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Sirka Pyaaz, Murgh aur Hari Mirch 750 grams Chicken skinned and cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone 10-12 small Green Chillies steeped in vinegar 3 tablespoons Oil 2 medium Onions 8-10 Cloves 16 Fat light green chillies 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1/2 cup Fresh tomato puree 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder Method Heat oil in a large non-stick pan. Slice onions. Add cloves and onions to the pan. Slit green chillies, without cutting through, and roast them on direct flame. Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan, mix and sauté. Add chicken, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add fresh tomato puree and roasted green chillies and mix well. Cover and cook. Add small onions steeped in vinegar, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix. Add 1 cup water and mix. Cover and cook. Add garam masala powder and mix. Cover and cook till chicken is completely done. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
