Khade Masale Ka Stew This is a very simple mutton stew with minimum masalas but without compromising the taste and flavour of the dish. Just make sure that the mutton is completely cooked and literally falling off the bones. Serve it with bread or even pav. By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Apr 2024 in Recipes Main Course Mutton New Update Khade Masale Ka Stew Main ingredients Mutton on the bone, Onions, Cumin seeds, Cloves, Black peppercorns, Green cardamoms, Black cardamoms, Cinnamon, Bay leaf, Kashmiri red chillies Cuisine Indian Course Main course Mutton Prep time 10-15 minutes Cook time 50-55 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Non veg Ingredients 750 grams mutton, cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone 3 medium onions 3-4 tablespoons oil 2 teaspoons cumin seeds 8-10 cloves 8-10 black peppercorns 4-5 green cardamoms 2 black cardamoms 1 inch cinnamon 1 bay leaf 2 Kashmiri dried red chillies 2 tablespoons chopped garlic 1½ tablespoons chopped ginger 2-3 green chillies, slit Salt to taste 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves Fresh coriander sprig for garnish Method Slice onions. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan, add cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, black cardamoms, cinnamon, bay leaf and dried red chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add onions, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. Add mutton and salt and sauté on high heat for 5-6 minutes. Add 1 cup water and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat for 35-40 minutes. Add coriander leaves mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl.
