By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Green chillies Cuisine Indo-Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chilli Chicken - SK Khazana 250 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1-2 Green chillies slit to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1 Egg 1 tablespoon Cornflour 1 1/2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil 4-5 cloves Garlic finely chopped 1 Medium onion cut into cubes and layers separated 1 Medium green capsicum cut into square pieces 1/2 cup Chicken stock 2 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour slurry 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce 1 teaspoon Vinegar 1 stalks Spring onion greens diagonally sliced Method Take chicken cubes in a bowl, add salt, pepper powder, egg, 1 tablespoon cornflour and refined flour and mix. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the chicken cubes and deep-fry till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. To make the sauce, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, chopped green chillies, slit green chilles, onion, capsicum and salt, mix and sauté for a few seconds. Add chicken stock, soy sauce and fried chicken pieces, mix well and bring to a boil. Mix together remaining cornflour and remaining stock in a bowl to make slurry. Add this to the sauce, mix and cook till the sauce thickens. Add chilli sauce and vinegar and mix well.
