Ingredients list for Fried Rice

  • 3 cups Basmati rice , cooked
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic , chopped
  • 1 medium Carrot , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons French beans , finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Button mushrooms , sliced
  • 2-3 Spring onion bulbs , diagonally sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Green capsicum , finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste White pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Spring onion greens , diagonally sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • to serve Port wine

Method

  1. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add carrot and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add French beans and sauté for 1 minute. Add button mushrooms and sauté for 1 minute. Add spring onion bulbs and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add green capsicum and sauté for 30 seconds. Add salt and white pepper powder and mix well.
  4. Add rice and mix. Add soy sauce and mix. Add 2 tablespoons spring onion greens and mix. Add vinegar and toss well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot with port wine.
