Ingredients list for Mast Mushroom

  • 400 grams Mushrooms cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons Cottage Cheese
  • 5 Black peppercorns
  • 5 Clove
  • 1 Green cardamoms
  • 1 Stick Cinnamon
  • 2 pieces Ginger grated
  • 6 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
  • 2 Green chilli finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 100 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Mint leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add black peppercorns, cloves, green cardamom, cinnamon and sauté for half minute.
  2. Add ginger, garlic and sauté for a minute. Add onions and sauté till golden brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook for five to seven minutes or till the tomatoes are soft. Add chillies and salt and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  5. Add mushrooms, cottage cheese and mix lightly. Add one cup water and bring to boil.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix well. Add butter and mix well.
  7. Serve hot garnished with coriander and mint leaves.
