By Sanjeev Kapoor 12 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chcicken, Peppercorns Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Murg Pepper 1 kilogram Chcicken 1 1/2 cups Peppercorns sliced 3/4 Tomatoes chopped 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped 25-30 Peppercorns 6-8 Cloves 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 8-10 Curry leaves optional 3 tablespoons Oil Method Clean, wash and skin the chicken. Cut it into twelve pieces. Pound peppercorns to a coarse powder. Mix salt, pounded peppercorns and turmeric powder with the chicken pieces. Keep aside for half an hour. Heat oil in a kadai. Add onions and cloves. Stir fry on medium heat till onions are light brown. Add garlic and cook for a minute. Add coriander powder and tomatoes. Cook till oil leaves the sides. Add marinated chicken, curry leaves and half cup water. Cook covered, stirring occasionally, till chicken is cooked. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
