Ingredients list for Paneer Mushroom

  • 150 grams Cottage Cheese
  • 200 grams Mushrooms quartered
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 3 medium Onions
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 medium Green capsicum
  • 3 Pineapple slices tinned
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Thickly slice onions. Roughly chop tomato.
  2. Add onions to the pan and saute for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and salt, toss and cook.
  3. Cut capsicum to small pieces. Cut cottage cheese into small cubes. Cut pineapple into small cubes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder to the pan and mix. Add ginger paste and garlic paste and saute till fragrant.
  5. Add capsicum, tomato and pineapple and mix well. Add tomato puree and mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add cottage cheese, mix and cook till the cottage cheese pieces get heated through. Add garam masala powder and mix. Adjust salt. Serve hot.
