By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns (medium), Oil Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawn Popcorn 1 cup Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined for deep-frying Oil 8-9 Garlic cloves 1 inch Ginger 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes to taste Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar Juice of ½ lemon to taste Salt 1 stalk Spring onion greens diagonally sliced 2-3 tablespoons Cornstarch Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Blend together garlic cloves, ginger, prawns, egg white, chilli flakes, salt, pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar and lemon juice into a paste. Transfer in a bowl. Add spring onion greens and cornstarch and mix well. Drop small portions of prawn mixture in hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
