By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Small tomato, Small carrot Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pressure Cooker Vegetable Pulao - SK Khazana 1 Small tomato chopped 1 Small carrot cut into diamonds 1/4 Medium cauliflower separated into florets 10-12 French beans cut into 1 inch pieces 1/2 cup Green peas 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked for 30 minutes 1 1/2 tablespoon Ghee 1 inch Cinnamon 4 Black cardamoms 1 blade Mace 1 Bay leaf 4 Cloves 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds 2 Green cardamoms 4-5 Black peppercorns 15-20 Raisins 8-10 Cashewnuts to taste Salt to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pressure cooker, add cinnamon, black cardamoms, mace, bay leaf, cloves, caraway seeds, green cardamoms, peppercorns, raisins, cashewnuts and tomato and saute till fragrant. Add carrot, cauliflower and French beans and mix well. Drain rice and add and mix lightly. Add ½ cup green peas and mix. Add 3 cups water and salt, mix well, cover the cooker and cook till 2-3 whistles are given out. Open the lid when the pressure settles completely.
