This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton, Fresh mint leaves Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Pudina Gosht 800 grams Mutton cut into small pieces on the bone 1 bunch for garnish Fresh mint leaves 4-6 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 piece Ginger sliced 10-12 cloves Garlic 5-6 Green chillies halved 10-15 Cashewnuts 1 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 4-5 Black cardamoms 4-5 Green cardamoms 4-5 Cloves 1 inch stick Cinnamon 2 Onions sliced to taste Salt 1/2 cup Yogurt Method Heat 2-3 tbsps oil in a handi. Add cumin seeds and sauté. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and sauté lightly. Add cashewnuts and sauté till they turn light brown. Switch off the heat, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, turmeric powder and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a mixer jar. Heat 2-3 tbsps oil in a handi, add black cardamoms, green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and sauté. Finely slice onions, add and sauté till lightly browned. Add mutton and mix well. Add salt and mix. Add 1 cup water and cook for 4-5 minutes. Grind the mint mixture with a little water to a fine paste. Add yogurt to the mutton and mix well. Add ground paste and cook 35-40 minutes or until the mutton is tender. Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
