Ingredients for Seekh Kabab Naan Pizza Recipe

  • Seekh kebabs , sliced into roundels 2

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 cups + for dusting

  • Salt to taste

  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon

  • Egg 1

  • Yogurt 2 tablespoons

  • Milk as required

  • Oil 2 tablespo + for greasing

  • Onions , finely chopped 2 medium

  • Ginger , finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Tomatoes , finely chopped 2 medium

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mozzarella cheese , grated as required

  • Chicken tikka pieces 1/2 cup

  • Green capsicum , cut into thin strips 1 medium

  • Onion , cut into thin strips and layers separated 1 medium

Method

Step 1

Take flour in a bowl, add salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix. Break an egg and add and mix lightly. Add yogurt and mix well. Add some milk and knead into a soft dough. Cover with a damp muslin and set aside to rest for some time.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and sauté till golden. Add ginger, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, mix and saute till soft and pulpy.

Step 3

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt, mix well and sauté till oil separates and the masala is cooked. Switch off heat and let the mixture cool. Transfer the mixture into a grinder jar and grind to a fine paste.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 5

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Dust some flour on the worktop, place each portion and flatten with your fingers to shape into large naan.

Step 6

Grease a baking tray with some oil and place a naan on it. Spread some of the masala over it. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, spread some seekh kabab pieces, some chicken tikka pieces, some green capsicum strips, some onion strips and sprinkle some more mozzarella cheese.

Step 7

Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Step 8

Take it out of the oven and place it on a serving platter. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
