When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka Noodles Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken 2

  • Noodles boiled 400 grams

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

  • Vinegar 2 tablespoons

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Carrot grated 1 small

  • Cabbage shredded 1/4 small

  • Green capsicum cut into thin long strips 1/2 medium

  • Bhuna masala 130 grams

  • Dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • White pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens 2-3 stalks

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon wedge to garnish

  • Fresh mint sprigs to garnish


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger and garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Cut chicken breasts into 2 inch long and thin pieces, add to the pan and sauté for a minute.

Step 2

Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder and 1 tbsp vinegar.

Step 3

Cut the onion into thin long strips and add to the pan. Add carrot, cabbage, green capsicum, bhuna masala and mix.

Step 4

Add noodles, dark soy sauce, remaining vinegar, white pepper powder and mix well.

Step 5

Roughly chop spring onion greens and add to the noodles. Add salt and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with a lemon wedge and a mint sprig and serve hot.
