By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Paneer Jalfrezi " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Paneer (cottage cheese), Oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese) 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 2-3 dried red chillies 1 medium onion, cut into strips 1 medium tomato, cut into strips 1/2 medium green capsicum, cut into strips 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 2 green chillies, chopped 1 inch ginger, cut into juliennes 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/2 cup tomato sauce Salt to taste 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder 10-12 fresh coriander sprigs Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, red chillies and sauté till cumin seeds are brown. Cut cottage cheese into batons. Add onion, tomato and capsicum strips to the pan and toss. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chillies and ginger. Toss to mix. Add vinegar and toss again. Add tomato sauce, mix well and cook for a minute. Add cottage cheese batons, salt and garam masala powder and toss to mix. Chop coriander sprigs and add. Mix well and give it a toss. Serve hot.
