By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Aug 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 1.30-2 hour Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Bhuna Gosht-SK Khazana 750 grams Mutton cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces on the bone 4 tablespoons Oil 6 Green cardamoms 10-12 Black peppercorns 4 Cloves 4 Dried red chillies broken 1 1/2 cups Onions finely chopped 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder to taste Salt 1 cup Yogurt whisked 1/2 cup Tomatoes finely chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder for garnish Fresh coriander sprig Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add green cardamoms, black peppercorns, cloves and dried red chillies. Sauté for a minute. Add onions and sauté till well browned. Add mutton pieces and sauté till light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, green cardamom powder and salt. Mix well. Add yogurt and mix well, cover and cook for 30-35 minutes on low heat. Add tomatoes, mix well. Cover and cook for another 30 minutes or till mutton is tender. Add coriander leaves and garam masala powder, mix well.
