Butter Chicken Poutine

Ingredients list for Butter Chicken Poutine

  • 450 grams Chicken Tikka readymade
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 3-4 Green cardamoms
  • 1 Mace
  • ½ inch Cinnamon
  • 3-4 Tomatoes pureed
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • to taste Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Honey
  • for greasing Fresh cream ½ cup +
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • as required French fries
  • 100 grams Processed cheese cut into small cubes
  • for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.Add cardamom, mace, cinnamon and sauté till fragrant.
  2. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
  4. Add salt and honey, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add cream and mix well.
  5. Add fenugreek leaves and mix. Add butter and mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and strain the gravy into a bowl.
  7. Place some French fries in a serving platter. Top with chicken tikka pieces, some more French fries and some more chicken tikka pieces. Pour the prepared gravy, drizzle some cream and add some cheese cubes.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
