Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Keto Chicken Curry- Sk Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken

  • Yogurt full fat 4 tablespoons

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon 1/2

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Tomato 1 large

  • Butter 3 tablespoons

  • Black peppercorns 6-8

  • Bay leaf 1

  • Green cardamoms 2

  • Cloves 2

  • Coriander powder 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin powder 2 teaspoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoons

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander sprigs for garnish

Method

Step 1

Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add yogurt, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into the bowl and mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Finely chop onion and tomato.

Step 3

Heat butter in a deep pan, add black peppercorns, bay leaf, green cardamoms and cloves and sauté till fragrant. Add onion and saute till golden brown.

Step 4

Add tomato and salt, mix well, cover and cook till the tomato turns soft and pulpy.

Step 5

Add coriander powder and cumin powder, and mix well. Add marinated chicken, mix and sauté on high heat 4-5 minutes.

Step 6

Add coriander leaves and 2½ cups water and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.

Step 7

Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is cooked completely.

Step 8

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
