Ingredients list for Mutton curry
- 400 grams Boneless Mutton cut into 1 inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons Coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon Dry mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 6-8 Curry leaves
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Green cardamoms
- 1 Stick Cinnamon
- 2 medium Onions
- 6 Dry red chilies, steamed
- 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- Marinate mutton with coconut oil, mint flakes, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli paste, garam masala and salt.
- Put the marinated mutton in a non stick pan. Add two cups of water, cover and cook till meat is tender.
- Heat olive oil in a non stick pan. Add curry leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and sauté for half a minute.
- Add onions, red chillies and sauté till onions are golden brown.Add tomato paste and stir for four to five minutes.
- Add mutton. Check the seasonings.Cook for ten to fifteen minutes.Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
